1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Simple Homescreen. By installing, accessing, or using this mobile application and all related services (collectively referred to as the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately uninstall and cease use of the Service. The Service is open to users of all ages.

Simple Homescreen is an Android home screen launcher application designed to provide a simplified, customizable device home screen experience. The Service includes, but is not limited to, the following features:

This section specifies the system-level functions of the launcher and is an integral part of this agreement.

  1. Default Home Screen Replacement. The core function of the Service is to replace your device's default system home screen. By installing and enabling the Service, you expressly consent to this system-level modification. You may change or restore the default home screen at any time through your device system settings.
  2. Search Service Configuration. The built-in search function of the Service is provided by a third-party search engine. By using the search function, you agree to use the corresponding third-party search service and accept its terms of service and privacy policy.
  3. System Permissions. The Service may request system permissions such as notification access, storage access, and location access. All permissions are requested solely to enable corresponding functions:

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable local, state, national and international laws and regulations. You shall not engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  1. Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, adapt or create derivative works based on the Service, or attempt to obtain the source code of the Service
  2. Remove, alter or obscure any copyright, trademark, patent or other proprietary notices contained in or on the Service
  3. Use the Service to distribute malware, viruses, spyware, or any other malicious or harmful code
  4. Interfere with, disrupt or hack the operation of the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  5. Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene or infringing purpose
  6. Reproduce, copy, sell, resell, rent or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our explicit written authorization

The Service integrates and displays content, products and services provided by third parties, including but not limited to search results, advertisements, weather data, and third-party applications opened through the launcher.

  1. We do not endorse, verify or assume responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, safety, legality or quality of any third-party content or services.
  2. Your interactions with third-party services, including visits to third-party websites and use of third-party applications, are solely between you and the corresponding third party. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by such interactions.
  3. Third-party services are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. We recommend that you review the relevant policies of third parties before using their services.

6. Advertising

The Service may display third-party advertisements in various forms including banner ads, interstitial ads, and native ads. The display of advertisements does not constitute our endorsement of the advertised products or services. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by your access to or reliance on advertised content.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All right, title and interest in and to the Service, including but not limited to software code, UI/UX design, trademarks, logos, graphics, animations, documentation and all other intellectual property rights, are and shall remain the exclusive property of Simple Homescreen and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This license does not constitute a transfer of ownership of any intellectual property rights.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, we do not warrant that:

  1. The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or compatible with all Android devices and system versions
  2. Defects or errors in the Service will be corrected
  3. The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, device malfunction, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your right to use the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you materially violate any provision of these Terms. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the Service and uninstall the application from your device. The disclaimers, intellectual property provisions and limitation of liability provisions shall survive any termination of these Terms.

We also reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time for operational, security, compliance or other reasonable reasons, with or without prior notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update and revise these Terms of Service from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and publish the revised terms within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the revised terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised terms, please stop using the Service.
